Great purpose – making buildings environment-friendlier
Renovation of buildings and increasing their energy-efficiency will be one of the great challenges in the upcoming years. Our energy-efficiency department has consulted various different local municipalities and conducted energy audits to advise them how to make school buildings and other public sector buildings more energy-efficient. Thanks to the audit, the local municipalities can participate in different support measures.
Energy-efficient buildings – how to achieve this?
We will visit the location and perform different measurements (interior climate, thermal camera test, observation of the building envelope, etc.). We gather the consumption data and check the building design documentation.
We can suggest different options for increasing the energy-efficiency of a building – insulation of external walls and the façade, replacement of the windows, mechanical ventilation, solar panels, virtual power station, etc.
We simulate different solutions to determine how much energy each of them would save and how long would the investment payback time be. For example, how much money would be saved over a longer period of time through installing solar panels or insulating walls.
