Forus helps PÖFF run safely and smoothly

For Forus, partnering with PÖFF is an opportunity to contribute to one of Estonia’s most important cultural events and help ensure that it is both safe and well organised. Culture brings people together, opens up new perspectives and creates experiences that often stay with us long after the event itself.

This year, Forus is PÖFF’s official security and taxi partner. We help create a safe festival environment while also making it easier for organisers, filmmakers and guests to move comfortably from one location to another. Our aim is simple: festival visitors should be able to focus on what brought them to PÖFF in the first place – films, encounters and memorable experiences.

According to Kaimar Karuauk, Head of Forus Security, the PÖFF partnership reflects what Forus values in its everyday work. “Our role is often to make sure that everything behind the scenes is in order and works as it should. At PÖFF, that means taking care of security while also helping guests get where they need to be on time. If festival visitors can focus on the films and the festival experience rather than worrying about any of that, then we have done our job well,” says Karuauk.

A safe festival starts behind the scenes

PÖFF brings together thousands of people across dozens of venues, screenings and special events. For the festival to run smoothly and professionally, security needs to be carefully planned.

Forus’ professional security team helps ensure that guests, organisers and the festival team can feel safe throughout the event.

Well-planned security often works best in the background. When everything is running as it should, visitors can simply enjoy the event without having to think about security at all. Forus is there when needed – visible when necessary, but above all reliably present.

Getting to PÖFF with Forus

Just as important as a safe festival venue is making sure people can get there easily and continue their journey afterwards.

During PÖFF, Forus Takso helps keep organisers, filmmakers, local visitors and international guests on the move. Professional drivers, a modern fleet and a range of travel options make it easy to find the right solution, whether for a regular taxi journey, a transfer or a more premium travel experience.

As PÖFF has become increasingly international over the years, the Forus app has also continued to develop. When a festival welcomes guests from around the world, ordering a taxi should be as simple and straightforward as possible. Before booking, the Forus app provides information about both the car and the driver, including the languages spoken by the driver, helping international visitors find a ride that suits them.

Better solutions are created together

Our message, “Üheskoos” – Together, reflects how we work: the best solutions are created in partnership. Every day, we work closely with our clients and partners, and PÖFF is no different. A festival of this scale succeeds through the joint effort of organisers, partners and the many people working behind the scenes.

The same idea fits naturally with this year’s Baltic focus at PÖFF. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania may each be small countries, but by working together, the stories, ideas and talent emerging from the region can reach much further.

“PÖFF is a good example of just how much can be achieved when different people and organisations work towards a shared goal. Collaboration is equally important in our own work – the best solutions are not created alone, but together with clients and partners,” Karuauk adds.

Supporting culture matters to Forus in a broader sense as well. A great place to live is shaped not only by reliable services, well-maintained public spaces and an easy everyday life, but also by events, encounters and experiences that bring people together and offer opportunities to discover something new.
