LOUHE and Forus Partner to Revolutionise Security Solutions in the Baltics

Only a functional fire extinguisher is of any use.
A legal obligation and the advice of the manufacturer.
Fire safety must be taken seriously – the lives and health of people are at stake.
To protect your possessions.
For more confidence and less worry – my fire safety installations are functional.
As the owner or holder of a building, you never know when you might need a fire extinguisher. One thing is certain – the fire extinguisher must always be functional. For that, it is necessary to regularly inspect the fire extinguishers.
You as the owner must check your fire extinguishers once a quarter and call a qualified technician who has received professional training every few years to check the internal pressure of the extinguishers.
Forus has competent specialists who will ensure that you can be confident about your security.
If the extinguisher passes the inspection, we will place a respective sticker on it with the date of the next inspection.
Fire extinguishers are checked pursuant to the advice of the manufacturer or immediately if a failure is suspected.
If the manufacturer has not specified how often the extinguisher should be inspected, the extinguisher is checked once a year (if it is kept in a place where it is affected by moisture, vibration, or temperature fluctuations) or once in two years if it is kept in a dry place with stable temperature.
As the owner, you are required to check the condition of your extinguishers yourself once a quarter. In the course of the inspection, make sure that:
If the observation gives rise to a suspicion that the fire extinguisher is broken, you as the owner must order the inspection and maintenance of the fire extinguisher by a competent technician.
If the inspection reveals that the fire extinguisher does not serve its purpose, we will let you know and you must buy a new extinguisher.
If everything is fine with your extinguisher, our technician will place a respective inspection sticker on it with the date of the next inspection.
